1.Definition of glitter acrylic sheet

glitter acrylic sheet, is a transparent or coloured acrylic substrate (PMMA, polymethylmethacrylate) based on the incorporation of glitter particles or special glitter effect sheet. During production, tiny particles of different colours, sizes and shapes are mixed and polymerised with liquid acrylic monomers in a special process; or they are attached to the surface of the sheet by means of a surface coating. This innovative design allows the sheet both visual aesthetics and the basic performance of acrylic.

2. Core features of glitter acrylic sheet

The most significant feature of glitter acrylic sheet is the surface or internal glitter. As the angle of light exposure changes, the sheet will show a dynamic visual effect, as if countless fine starlight hidden in it. At the same time, glitter acrylic sheet also inherits many advantages of ordinary acrylic sheet: some types maintain high transparency, have good plasticity, can be processed through cutting, engraving, hot bending and other ways of shaping; sheet lightweight, easy to carry and install; also has a certain degree of weather resistance, is not easy to rapid aging due to environmental factors. In addition, by adjusting the type and amount of glitter material, a variety of visual effects can be achieved, such as fine pearls, obvious glitter, multi-colour mixing, etc., to meet different customer design needs.

3.The main difference between glitter acrylic sheet and ordinary acrylic sheet

Appearance, the two styles are very different. glitter acrylic sheet comes with eye-catching properties, so it is often used to do display racks and so on; ordinary acrylic sheet pure transparent or uniform colouring, visual effects low-key. Manufacturing process, glitter acrylic sheeting because of the need to add flash particles or special surface treatment, the process is more complex; ordinary acrylic sheeting more through the body polymerisation or casting direct moulding, relatively simple.
